Farzeen Heesambee is a British-Mauritian writer and blogger with a particular interest in post-colonialism. She holds a degree in Linguistics and qualified as an English Teacher. She recently graduated with a Research Masters in Postcolonial Literature. She has a particular interest in Caribbean Literature, Indian Ocean Literature, Creole Literature and Indentureship in Anglophone and Francophone worlds. When she is not reading and writing, she is busy travelling the world. She is currently studying for a PhD in Journalism.
