Dreams have always been more than just the flickering images behind our closed eyelids.
They are often thought of as windows into the subconscious, places where the boundaries of time and space dissolve. But what if those dreams, or those nightmares, could echo through to the reality of our waking world?
Echoes of Dreams is an anthology that explores the powerful and sometimes dangerous effects of dreams on reality. We’re seeking bold, creative writers to craft stories that dive deep into the idea that a dream is more than just an escape from the mundane—it’s a force that can transform lives, reshape destinies, and even tear into the very fabric of what we think of as normal life.
What happens when a dreamer awakens to find that the boundary between dream and reality has blurred?
Can the vivid experiences of a dream leave lasting marks on the waking world, influencing choices, relationships, or even the very course of someone's life? Or could a dream’s reach extend even further—altering not just a person’s future, but life as we know it?
We’re calling for stories of all genres, each must feature a dream, and the consequences of the dream for the dreamer and those around them. Whether your dreamer is on the verge of a discovery that will change their life, or struggling with the weight of a dream that has the power to undo everything they thought they knew, we want to hear their story.
This is your chance to take the most fantastical or frightening elements of dreams and show the world how a nighttime fantasy might ripple through reality. What happens when a dream refuses to be forgotten? When it echoes in the waking world, forcing us to face what we cannot escape?

Submissions must be about a dream; the word count must be 2000 words or less. For over 18's only.

Please ensure that you read our Submissions policy before submitting. We do not accept manuscripts that contain porn, fetish, rape, bestiality or any work that glorifies violent crimes such as abuse or murder. We will not read any work that has child abuse as a main theme unless it is dealt with sympathetically and with compassion. We are not looking for splatter gore or work that over uses graphic or profane language. We do not expect all sweetness and light but there is a fine line between using a word because it fits the scene and over using it for shock value.
