Pete is a distributor.
Pete is the person who decides if your book makes it to the book shop shelves.
What does Pete want?
He wants a professional book, cover, author.
He wants to see high book sales and a great social media presence.
He needs to know what genre your book is and who will buy it?
He wants to see a business invoice of your sales and know the discount bookshops will receive when
buying your book in bulk.
Pete wants to be sure that the book will sell.
Pete wants to see an ISBN number on your book.
He wants to see your book listed with Nielsens.
He wants to know your printers are able to send books in bulk and warehouse books for you.
Pete wants to see high levels of marketing, promotion and advertising.
Pete is only interested in a book that gets his attention and the attention of his readers.
He will not always say yes, he will often say no. BUT get him to take on your book and you can often
see your book sales skyrocket.
Help us to get Pete to say YES. Be professional, be involved, market your book, bother people, don’t
be afraid to ask anyone who can help to promote your work. Send copies to celebrities, papers,
reviewers, anyone who can get you sales. Put in the time and effort, we will too and together we will
achieve amazing things.
